A Cloak for the Dreamer
A tailor asks each of his sons to make a cloak that will keep out the wind and rain. One son uses rectangles; another uses squares and triangles; the youngest uses circles, making a cloak full of holes. His father finds a (geometric) way to fix the cloak. Used in Math By All Means: Geometry, Grades 1-2.
