It’s Complicated
When Dee gets the results of a fertility MOT she signs up for just before her 34th birthday, she realises that if she wants to have a child, she needs to get on with it — right now.
The only problem is that Dee has spent the past three years in a relationship with Thomas, who is very handsome, very famous — and very married. He isn't going to end his marriage, and Dee is painfully aware of how hard her mum found being a single parent.
So when it emerges that Tony, a photographer she knows through work, has recently been part of an article about childless men who wish they were fathers, she suggests that they team up.
The two of them start on a very modern journey to becoming platonic co-parents. Dee keeps telling herself that it's all strictly business. But as they start to become more involved in each other's lives, will their arrangement stay that way?
And, in her heart of hearts, does she even want a baby?
